Description

I think a 8.5mx3y OS could also work for Byfield, but LA would have to sign a lot of guys/acquire a solid 1G to reach a point where they can only bridge him (3-4m/y).

For MTL, I feel like the big advantage of such a big OS would be that you could then convince Byfield to sign for under 7.5m/8y (maybe even less) after since he'll have made over 30m in 3 years (assuming he wants to stay in a winning core).

Also, that type of OS would only happen IMO if MTL wins the lottery since Celebrini can come in a be an impactful player right away, meaning that we risk less gambling those two unprotected 1sts.

The goal is to have 3 solid lines with talent spread-out. Slaf, Suzuki, Celebrini and Caufield still clear Byfield imo

Anderson is terrible.

No. We will dump Campbell with our 25'1st but we don't want Anderson in return.

We also don't need a bottom pairing guy for a 2nd.
