Flyers decline, don't need the cap space. And even if they would need that, that's one hefty price to pay for one year of cap dumps, when Petersen can be just buried/bought out and Johansen is LTIR bound. They are rather trading up than down anyways.

Edit. Levshunov ain't falling to 5th, Ducks will pick him, if Chicago doesn't do that before them.

No chance Levshunov falls to 5th, he is going 2nd or 3rd

The chance of you selecting Levshunov at #5 is the same as the chance of Anaheim selecting Celebrini at #3.

My thoughts, if Mtl trades up for any pick, it better be from #5 to #2. If they have to trade 2 more first rounders and give up a player like Xhekaj, I don't care.
Only untouchables are: Suzuki, Caufield, Guhle, Hutson, Reinbacher, and Fowler.
Besides that? IF Montreal stays at 5, there is a 100% chance Lindstrom or Iginla is there, take one of them.

Honestly we have greater odds of drafting Demidov and I’m not too knowledgeable about this particular trade but I’d give up those assets with my eyes closed for something without even drafting another D.
