Description

This Cowan kid is legit man, and a playoff performer as well. He may not be as talented or produce as much as Mitch, but he has a high ceiling, I could easily see him being a 25-30 goal scorer and 60-70 point player.

That’s a decent offer for Franky for sure but I think Verbeek wants to keep him around

I’d probably try and use that whole package to trade up in the draft

He's a good player but the chances Cowan reaches that ceiling is like 10%

That's like a Habs fan saying that Joshua Roy will turn into Martin Necas level producer, sure it could happen but I won't be counting on it or planning for it

He’s a good player, but not in the same way Marner is. Marner is much more talented, but Cowan has more sandpaper to his game. Won’t come close to Marners production, but I can see him becoming a solid 3rd line guy around the 40-50 points range. Guy that can play up if needed but best suited on 3rd line type. Solid player
