Flames likely don't get any one of those single assets for Markstrom. Maybe Kleven from Ottawa but I think they like him.

No team is trading top 10 picks for markstrom, and adding to it. Maybe if he was 10 years younger but not for a 34yo G.

No way we'd get Arizona or Ottawa's picks (6th and 7th OA) for Markstrom alone. NJ's pick is probably not on the table anymore since it's about 7 spots higher than projected to have been if NJ had acquired Marky before the deadline. I don't think Buffalo is even all that interested in Markstrom.

Now add Andersson and it's a whole different story especially for Ottawa who need help at RD. Also Calgary already has plenty of D prospects to compete for jobs next year. None of those prospects stands out as being good enough to take another one on especially not left shots which all 3 are. Kleven's size might make him tempting anyhow particularly since his PIM totals suggest he can play a physical game.

I dont even think he had Markstrom in the title when i posted, but even then the Sabres have 2 NHL goalies, one that was better than Markstrom specifically lol
