Leafs get a dynamic two way defenceman who can play top pair minutes on the left or right side as well as QB their powerplay, something they desperately need and haven't really had.

Vegas traded for Hanifin and signed him long term and he took over a lot of theodores role during the end of the season. this trade fits vegas cap situation as long as they don't resign Marchessault which i don't think they will since they brought Hertl in at the deadline.

ignore term on the signings i have no idea what they'll be. main point is the players and the prices. I hope domi signs 4+ too

McCabe and Theodore both play the right side very well also I would bring back Lyubushkin instead of Edmundson if the team prefers
