DeBrusk doesn't sign that contract.

Also running with a 21 man roster & no cap space is extremely risky.

Tandem of him and Hofer would be interesting but agreed. If we trade Binner, I'd rather sign a vet to backup and mentor.

Get a different piece along with Broberg and the 1st.

Yeah, we'll have Zherenko ready to come up soon enough. No need to spend return value on a very inconsistent goalie.

Not only that, but Colton Ellis had a strong showing in the AHL as well.

Yup. He made a big development leap last season. I've never been very high on him, but he may end up proving me wrong.

Me either. Hope the split games between him and Zherhenko next year and if they both put around .920 I think I will be sold on both of them. If Hofer also takes some steps forward I think we can start to look at moving Binnington. I also wouldn't mind them letting Binnington play out his contract though.

Well, I'd still treat Zherenko as the #1 down there. He could even be better than Hofer. Ellis has risen, but not that much.
