Marner trade is a little more reasonable than others I’ve seen, but I’d only trade Saros for a #1 center. Also, really undervaluing Sissons there, I’d keep him as he’s a really underrated part of our core and it’d take a 1st to even get us to think about dealing him. Not a lot of teams would give that up, but I’d be more than happy just to keep him.

All good points. A #1 center is a big need. I was proactively trying to free up salary ahead of the youngins needing new contracts and also needing to extend Marner, but since Sissons only has 2 years left that contract dovetails well, especially with the buyouts and retained salary.
