Probably unrealistic, but this is the first Nylander trade and/or Karlsson acquisition that I have actually liked. I also think Stastny could be Toronto bound.

If Carter would waive I think Dubas would do this for sure.

Sharks are not paying 20 mil in dead cap, 3 mil for corpses of Carter for that. No way.

Maybe, I just dont know why any of those teams would do that? Seems counter intuitive to the paths theyre taking and their seems to be an over estimate on what TOR is offering.

For example:
BUF wants a RD, but they want/need a stay at home, reliable defensive RD, to play in the top 4, timmins is not that.
PIT is looking to move Carter for cap space, but at least carter plays, theres no way they want a 4.6mil cap hit that doesnt play

They're just not very conscious ideas of why the other team would do these.

And maybe I made it sounds too strong, but theres about 30 maple leaf (not the only fan base that does this to be fair) proposals a day that are just for fun apparently. Im no expert certainly, but all it is, is other fans saying no thanks.
