Isn't Wallman like a very good defensive defenseman? A 2nd feels kinda low

No chance Utah does that

I think the Hawks decline.

With eating $8.1m next season and $3.4m the following in Detroit cap dumps I think sending back the two 2nd round picks is too much.

I can't see the Hawks sending their own 2nd which puts the net of the proposed picks as #37 OA (soundofhockey chart) to dump a decent chunk of salary with some spilling into another season too.

My counter would be Soderblom LA Kings 2nd, Vancouver 2nd, NYR '25 4th & Donato for #15OA Husso & Holl

Hawks decline. The difference in the value of those 3 picks is an early 2nd. Hawk's wouldn't take Holl and Husso for an early 2nd. Swap pick #34 for the Vancouver '24 2nd (#62) going to Detroit and Hawks probably accept. If the Wings want pick #34, that other pick becomes a 3rd, not another 2nd.
