I’d assume all defense are taken since San Jose most likely takes Jiricek at 14. So forward wise I’d want MBN. We should go for Sascha Boumedienne next draft he’d be a good partner for Lindstein down the line

I think if there is no defense besides really reaching for like Elick or Emery, which I would rather not do. Then we grab MBN or even possibly Greentree.

In my mind our cup contention window is when we have the depth to run something like Thomas, Kyrou, Snuggerud, Bolduc, Dvorsky, Stenberg, Neighbours, MBN, and Dean as a top nine. basically we win by having Thomas as our elite guy and having basically 3 strong 2nd line caliber lines.

Defense has to improve from within probably. I am not hopeful about Perunovich, but maybe he can be PP QB if he wantst to stay. If we draft a forward at 16 then ideally we use both of our 2nds to grab top 4 potential D. I think there are plenty of Solid Defenders to be had in the 2nd round, but its just matter of finding the right guy.
