Swap rossi for kap and you've pulled the interest of KA.

The Sabres wouldn't have traded mitts for Byram if they didn't think it would be a good idea to trade a center away.

If they want to flip Gaudreau in two years form now, it's very unlikely that they'll get anything for him. That trade isn't even level for this year. Habs would not need him, and in today's market may give back a 6th at the very best for him now.

MIN would be better to just buy him out at that stage. I unfortunately don't see him getting better in the upcoming years unfortunately.

I don't hate the idea of moving Byram, but rossi couldn't be farther from what they do need.

Right idea for what Minnesota could be looking for in a Rossi deal, just the wrong player

Why on earth would the Sabres turn around & trade Byram right after we just acquired him?
He played well for us & is going nowhere
