I am not suggesting the team fit isn't there, but if Marner is to be traded to Seattle, I would have to assume it's a more substantial hockey trade that. I am thinking Jared McCann, yes former Leaf Jared McCann, and their top pick this upcoming draft, or even their top pick in the 2025 draft if Seattle wanted to avoid the signing bonus July 1st. While I generally like the idea of JT to Nashville, I think Lauzon would be a better fit than Luke Schenn simply based on age and the fact Lauzon hits everything.

I don't think you are too far off but I think it's going to be closer to Larsson straight across for Marner should it happen. Either way Seattle is still left some big holes and I don't think Marner rights the ship in Seattle.

McCann is on record that he will block a move to TOR based on how they handled him for the expansion draft.
