Description
Before everyone says no way said player signs for this, I took this off an article from Dobber Hockey with salary projections....

Trust me, I am wondering where these projections are coming from myself. Most are way out of left field.

Whole heartedly agree. I forget where but I saw one article whom projected Roy between 5.5 and 6.5, Pesce at 6.5-7.5 and Skjej at 7-8. Ironically the Dobber hockey had Skjej at 5.5 if I remember.

All I say is I wish Dobber Hockey is the actual salaries and that the original teams somehow magically refuse to resign as than our defense can actually improve quite easily lol!

I wont blast you for these Salary projections, but Dobber Prospects definitely does hot takes for the sake of having hot takes.

There's obviously something wrong with their RD model because there's no way Montour gets more than three times as much as Roy and almost four times as much as Pesce, as the esteemed @SharkTank implies.

Yeah that's around what I expect those players to get.

Domi really likes being a Leaf so he may take less.

I won't complain in a world where we can get Montour, Pesce, Roy all signed and keep he core lol! Heck we can trade Kampf and sign Perron for bottom six at 2.1. even better.

Thanks for posting the link!

Another one that stood out for me is RFA Jordan Spence at $3.67 million. Yes, he'll be a regular next year along with Drew Doughty and Brandt Clarke and Yes, he had a good year, but he doesn't have arbitration rights and the Kings are cap-stressed. I expect Blake to give him around $2 million -- $2.5 million tops.

The idea that he's worth twice what Pesce is worth is just insane, and I'm a Jordan Spence fan.

I think that was George Armstrong?

Actually maybe I have the wrong guy?

Maybe I meant Bill Zito? 🤔
