Byfield would get more imo. Arvidsson hasn't played enough to be paid 5 million for the next 5 years. Sure in the time he has played he has been great but this year he missed 3 quarters of the season. I think he is worth 5 million but not for 5 years. Roy would probably get more if he signed anywhere else. I think Nashville would accept

I would accept that offer as the Los Angeles GM, and it's the first offer I've seen where Blake can legitimately say the trade is to better the team instead of correct a mistake.

All five of your largest free-agent signings need a little massage. Byfield's bridge will be twice that, Grundstrom won't get much more than his Qualifying Offer, Lizotte will get a tad less, Arvidsson will get much less and Roy will get $5.5 to $6 million. It all evens out in the end. But thanks for the most satisfying-while-realistic ACGM I'll see today!

You think the GM that bought out Duchene and traded Ryan Johansen at 50% retained for futures is going to bring in an underperforming PLD who up to this point in his career has underperformed the aforementioned ryan johansen?

Of course you’d accept it, but Nashville would NEVER offer it.

I do think PLD has more value than fans are giving him credit for, but this isn’t it.
