I hoped he could be at least decent. Nope. Healthy scratch for most of the playoffs. Goodbye.

I'm guessing
Siegenthaler - Hamilton
Hughes - Marino
Bahl - Miller
// Smith
Nemec in the AHL as to preserve ELC slide.
Love it.

Miller is a solid 3rd pairing defender. Nice price to pay.

Great plan
Just add a 3G or 4G for Utica, maybe one more veteran forward for depth, and sign Bahl.

Probably Dumba or Klingberg since there is a gaping hole at RHD.

Maybe two "wrongs" will make a perfect pair: Suter-Karlsson?

Can they fit Karlsson without dumping Suter?

Maybe if they dealt Faksa and SJ retained a large amount.

You could be right, but they already have Heiskanen playing half a game, and Hakanpaa, Lundqvist,Hanley for the rest.
IMO a goal scorer winger is a bigger need for them.

That's about what I'd pay for a depth defenceman like Colin Miller.

Liked him in Buffalo. Solid player, heavy shot, wish he hit the net with it more often.
