I was surprised when Ty Smith (drafted 17th overall in 2018) passed through waivers, and I would have been surprised if Lassi Thomson (drafted 19th overall in 2019) did as well.

Now, I'm not suggesting either of these two will turn into a Gustav Forsling waiver wire type addition. But, I do think, in both of their cases, with the right team environment and if they are paired with the right D, that both of these two can be serviceable NHL D.

Feels like a temp addition while Drysdale is absent. Wouldn't be surprised if we toss him back on the wire and grab Bernard Docker.

Honestly thought it was a tactical move to get right side scoring in case Drysdale signing drags on, let's him know he "could" be replaced so best get his a$$ to camp. Guess we'll see.

Ottawa is making some questionable decisions.

Thomson, Sokolov, Bernard-Docker have ALL been placed on waivers.

Sens fans probably have some opinions on their asset management.
