Hawks accept. I like the way you phrased that in the trade as well. I feel the same way about Isaak Phillips. The kid can play, but the Hawks have soo many LD prospects that it'll be hard to find NHL ice time unless there are a ton of injuries. Vlasci/Korchinski should be the #1/#2 LD for the next decade. Then the #3 LD should be one of Del Mastro / Kaiser / Allan. How's Philly's LD pipe line looking? Any chance for a swap here?

Although, Phillips looks way better playing the right side than he did earlier in the season. I really like him and I don't see any rush to sell low on him. I think he has a real shot to establish himself as an NHLer and gain some serious traction in trade talks. But yeah, he probably does end up being the odd man out. I'd explore what an extension with him might look like, and if it is reasonable enough, keep him around and let him build up some more value.

As far as Frost, though, I would be into this proposal.

Yeah i guess it wouldnt hurt considering our defense pool isnt strong. I can get rid of the pick and add either phillips or allan.

Why do you hate the Flyers?

They can get much more for Laughton and Frost.

COL isn’t doing that, but they’d give you more than a 4th for Frost.

I do like the flyers but i dont see a scenario where a team gives like a first and a prospect for laughton because he's been bouncing around the lineups like i genuinely dont know where his value stands right now and how much teams are willing to give up for him and frost has been under achieving and has been scratched because younger bucks like brink and forester are doing well for themselves. Ive tried other scenarios where i think a 1st for laughton is good and people are like no thats too much and even though personally i would like a 1st for laughton i dont know if its that realistic.

I mean if frost plays like he did last year getting really hot 2nd half of the season then yeah i would ask for more. But based on his pace, not that high.
