Niemela and a 1st are the only two pieces that have any semblance of value in the deal. That's a lot of nothing for two of the top player on the trade board.

These are all really, really awful for Calgary, Arizona and Montreal.

-Beyond the quantity vs quality aspect, the package to Calgary may not get Hanifin alone, let alone Hanifin and Tanev.
-Arizona isn't going to move McBain for less than they paid to get him (2nd), and probably wouldn't even do that.
-You're not offering a single piece Montreal would want for any of their young D, let alone Xhekaj.
