As a Hawks fan, I'm in favor of this move if Davidson likes someone available at #17. We've got the picks to use in order to get the specific guys we're targeting.

Respect the effort. This is a dream for Wash next year. However I don't see Kane as someone who would pick DC. But if they can get a comparable and wind up with three solid top-6 ufa forwards, I believe they'll be better than last year

Kane is supposedly ( I’m not an insider can’t confirm anything ) looking for term which is why Detroit is off the table. Just my assumption here but based on his production this season, he wants more than 4.2.
