Three excellent draft choices!

You don't know how much I'm rooting for you to select Demidov. Or Cayden Lindstrom. Enjoy! And much success!

Still a lot of gaps to fill before CHI finishes 22nd in the league. That means, another top 5 pick in 2025 as well

I'm still not a fan of Jiricek at 20th overall. I'd maybe consider him in the 2nd round, but I like Emery and Brunicke more. At 20th OA, I'm looking at Sennecke, Basha, Chernyshov, or Hage. I might even be fine with them taking Stiga there, he has risen up the rankings a ton and in my viewings, I f#$%ing love the kid.

Next year, I like a lot of guys. Hagens, Martone, Hensler, Spence, Frondell, Ryabkin, McQueen, Misa, Trethewey, etc. Should also be a good haul for the rebuild no matter where we land.

I sure hope so. Doesn't look like there will be as much of a tank race after this year, either. ANA is bound to take steps sooner or later, along with other teams, and CHI has a long way to go. Even if we do 20 points better next season we are still in the bottom of the standings.

Agree. I think for efficiency's sake, it's better to draft another forward at 20 and then pick whoever of Mews or Elick falls to us at 34 (i like them better than who you listed but the point remains)

Truth. A forward at 20th is probably going to be the BPA. But, Elick and Mewes don't impress me at all, though. If they want an RD in the 2nd round, I'd be looking at Emery, Brunicke, Badinka, Danford, Gill, or Kleber, depending on who is available.

That's fair. My views on Mews come from a little bit of backing based on his D-1, but I really like Emery's athleticism. In the end, I trust Davidson to evaluate talent. But if we could get Demidov at 2 and Teddy Stiga, Sennecke, or Tarik Parascak at 20 (I think Hage and Chernyshov will be gone)... oooooooooiiiiiii

For sure. I was pretty high on Mewes going into this season, his profile seemed to fit what CHI is trying to build, but he has not progressed, and even more so, a lot of other players have rather easily passed him over. I love Emery's game. I do not like Elick much, though. Plus, Elick doesn't really fit Davidson's vision, IMO.

Also, YES! Definitely a forward at 20th. Sennecke, Basha, Stiga, Chernyshov, Hage, Misa, etc. would be very good picks.

Fair enough. I still like Badinka as well. My only exception to our point is if Yakemchuk somehow falls to 20. I'd take him without thinking twice. But i doubt it. I feel there's gonna be an early run of defensemen, someone will get overdrafted, and one of the good forwards are gonna fall to us at 20.

Yep. I'm thinking the same thing.
