I would not trade Beck plus a 1 for Kakko. Beck potential to me is better then Kakko.

It sets up a better core for when it's Laffy and Millers team and would be an overpay for Kakko which the Rangers may never get again.

Nope. Rangers best shot at a cup is right now, this season and next with Shesty and Laffy on affordable deals. There is ZERO reason to trade away a position of need (RW) for a young C and a draft pick. No thank you.

NYR don’t need to win a trade of him. They need HIM. He doesn’t need to be a 13M 50G superstar, we need the cheap strong 2way play guys to accent the stars we already have. This is why they pass. Beck can be a top line guy in MTL and MTL needs beck more

Sorry for the late reply, just got to work. I would flip the pick and/or prospect for RW. Someone like Tuch, Batherson, Bjorkstrand, Vatrano, etc.
