If I was a team that Marner would realistically resign with (NYR and VGK are teams I'd think he'd like but I don't actually know) than I would trade a prospect like K.Johnson but, I don't think Marner has CBJ as a preffered destination

I mean, I'd agree to that Marner trade on value. But 1) he's not waiving to come here, 2) Johnson has a long recovery ahead of him for shoulder surgery, and 3) you'd get a better offer from someone looking to contend now.

CBJ would accept, but why would Toronto? Please, send him somewhere else.
