The problem is you can’t have him as a 3RD . He’d only be 1 injury away from playing in the top 4

JBD was not good this season. Skirted so much criticism by not being Travis Hamonic, but he's not anything special. He's about to turn 24, he's heading into his 5th pro season with 100 NHL games under his belt, and I'm still not convinced he's even a 7th D on a playoff team. No good team is one injury away from a JBD equivalent being in the lineup, let alone consider him as a top 6 guy.

Their top-4 D are going to be called D Core Four, Chychrun probably get at least 7M and Theodore 7.5M or something like that.
