Blues retain 50% on Buch and take back Fast to help Carolina sign Guentzel. Buch is a great fit with Carolina and Brindamour and I think this would be a sneaky good addition for them.

As for the Blues, they get younger and add more futures with the 2nd round pick.

The Blues extend Necas to an 8 year deal similar to what Owen Tippett just got.

Boston proved in the playoffs that they desperately need better center depth. I think Hayes would produce a lot better in their top 6 as opposed to the Blues bottom 6.

The Blues get a long shot RHD prospect and a late round pick. Trading Hayes opens up a spot for Dvorsky to play.

Pittsburgh could use another puck moving dman and I think Krug would be a nice fit for them. I think moving Krug just comes down to him waiving his NTC which I believe he will be more inclined to do this offseason as opposed to last offseason. Krug also fits their window to win before Crosby retires.

The Blues take Smith who they could play in the top 6 for a year and then replace him with a younger player like Snuggerud.

The Blues trade up to 10 to get one of the top dman prospects in the draft. Either Buium, Dickinson, or Silayev if they are there.
