Gavrikov has a full NMC. As an LA fan, I'd love to move him, but I don't think he's going anywhere before his contract expires.

You'd have to wonder if there are places he would waive for but who knows. if he would waive for jersey, and that's a big if, he could be an absolute bargain to acquire due to that combination of an NMC and the kings needing cap space.

But he likely just uses his NMC and stays put

It's possible, but generally in full NMC instances, the player specifies the one team they'd be willing to move to, and the trading team essentially moves him there for next to nothing. Ryan Smyth comes to mind.

If that team happens to be New Jersey, then they could get a steal, but I find it hard to believe that Gavrikov would pick NJ out of all the other 31 teams in the league. You never know...

Curious why you set the cap to 86.5?
Why not 87.7 (per Google haha)

LA is an interesting paradigm. They could really use a LHD instead of a RHD, but around is super important to there personality as a team. I would think a Spence for Bahl deal might make sense

I think Boston keeps Boqvist, but probably is willing to throw in Lauko. I don’t believe either player is worth killing a deal for

Next to nothing not if your GM knows how to negotiate. TB got Callahan 2 firsts and a 7 for St.Louis and a 2nd. St.Louis only would go to the Rangers

I’d guess that it’ll be tough to move Ullmark this summer. He’s made it clear he wants to stay and I’d bet he gets smart and when he submits his 15 team no trade list this summer that he’ll include teams that are looking for a goalie to make it almost impossible to move him

If his agent allowed that to happen, his boss should fire him immediately. The objective is to get the best contract for his client and coming off two strong years, it’s not in his best interest to close off the option for an extension at his highest point of value.

We know that all things equal, he’ll prefer to stay in Boston vs someone on his no trade list. This is the first summer where the parameters will be changing. Extensions will be off the table in Boston and stability for his family is probably less because of it.

I think it will be much easier to move than you are suggesting, but the only people that know aren’t posting on a fan forum

Also predicting “teams that will need goalies” is pretty tough with how volatile their play is. He’ll probably just keep west coast teams on it again

My guess is west coast teams and Canadian teams to ensure he gets an extension if one of them wants him
