Sens fans need to start being realistic with the Brady situation. There is a very good chance he does in fact get traded this offseason or during next season. After next season his NTC or NMC, whichever, come into play. I know for a fact, BT has spoken to Staois/Andelauer (spelling??) about the direction of this team. He’s not happy and didn’t hesitate to say so. He believes in the organization, wants to stay, bring a cup to Ottawa…but he’s not sticking around for another season like this past year or years before. The guy wants to win more than any player on that team. He’s do anything to get them to the playoffs/cup. If Sens do not start off on a good foot, he’s getting traded. Now the Sens control where he would go, so it doesn’t mean he goes to a contender. He’s going to go to whichever team gives the Sens the most assets…CBJ def has those assets. I’ve been saying NJ for some time, but they don’t have as much as CBJ. Nemec would have to be included in any BT trade, I would imagine. Carolina is another team with lots of assets. Not necessarily the best, but they def have assets to put together a decent proposal. Buffalo is another…Kings, eh, maybe only if Brandt Clarke is included. I don’t see Kings trading a big piece to their future. Detroit has quality young players that could possibly move the needle. I mean most teams would do their best to try to acquire Brady. He changes a teams lineup significantly. Adds a very unique talent to any team that most don’t have. Anyway that’s my rant, I’m sure most will say I’m an idiot…)i got married, I already know this), but BT is def available.
