As long as he stays well, I think they put Chytil on the Mika line. Lavi definitely believes in him; remember Trocheck was the 3C to start the year and Chytil was in the top 6 for the first 10 games.

With that, I think it'll be easy enough to fill 3C and other holes with the available space. Likely could be Brodz as 3C and Kakko at 3RW

I can't imagine Kreider or Trouba being traded. Glenn Sather is long gone. Trouba is definitely playing hurt right now, hasn't been the same since "returning" from injury. There's a reason he's on the 3rd pair

Trouba could be moved. Don't see Goodrow being moved anymore. He is vital to PK and NYR could use that $8M to lock up some RFA's and get another RW.

They can probably keep both guys for next year, would be one year less of Trouba lighting up their stars, but they might need to move both the year after if they are adding a right-winger with a significant salary. Extending Lafreniere (if he gets a long-term deal) and Shesterskin alone could take upwards of 8M. The 3.65M available here + the potential 4.3M cap rise should be enough to take care of the other RFAs and have some money left over for a budget winger perhaps. They might still need to add a 3rd pairing guy to replace Trouba or a 7th defender + extra fwd.

They should try getting Lafreniere locked up for 6-6.5M as soon as they can.
