I can't see Seattle making that trade. They've structured their blue line with an eye towards incorporating Evans into it full time in the near future, and he had a solid showing in his debut NHL season. At this point he's a more promising player than Jones, and a distant third round pick doesn't move the needle nearly enough.

I rather keep Trouba. The way he can hit people causes other teams to play more carefully.
Jones will replace Gustafsson next season.

guy is an analytical darling last season.
