We need Macklin and while I am not bashing your offer I don’t think it comes close to getting to pick 1st OA for the first time and taking a former Jr. Sharks with the pick.

This equates to two 5OA plus a mid-second, plus an adjusted for skill late-first (Beck) ... value could be close to there, but I don't think SJ moves on it at all.

San Jose isn’t moving the 1st overall unless it is a massive and I mean massive overpay. This isn’t an overpay and may not even be fair value for the 1st overall
