As a flames fan I like the sharangovich trade but I love him and would hate to see him go.

don't be silly. everyone everywhere is always for sale except for like maybe 2 people. sorry to break it to you, but ur 65 point 26 year old winger is available for the right price. didn't think i'd have to say that, but if im the first to tell you that then so be it.

u think the caps are giving up too much in that flames trade or is the value roughly fair?

Theoretically, yes, Montreal would have to pay someone to move him, however, realistically, they won’t as they don’t need to. This is his first time hitting 30 points since the 2019-20 season.. I wouldn’t pay a dime for him. You would be better off trading for a different guy, or signing someone out of free agency imo.

He actually had a very strong end of the season. I think hed be a solid 3rd line winger for any contender for half his AAV
