    I get what you are saying but San Jose can NOT retain anything. You need a different team to do it.

    I don't see Vegas taking that trade considering how tight to the cap they already are. But I like the idea of moving Marner for a couple of pieces.


    Seems like a lot of term and money to give away in UFA for a third line centre and a D (Zadorov) you don't need if you keep McCabe (which you should).

    Why are you trading McCabe? Probably our best dman in the playoffs and only makes 2 million. Makes zero sense

    Why do Leaf keep on repeating that Theodore/Thompson trade for Marner. It is absolutely horrendous for Vegas.

    That's not true.

    I'm not a McCabe fan but he's at least a #4.

    He certainly does have his limitations.
