I believe that that term carries Jordan Spence straight to free agency.

This team is still stuck in this defensive game they believe works. The league has changed and they still try to keep doing the same crap over and over, all they produce is boring hockey that will get you into the playoffs but no further than the 1st round. This team cannot score, no goals on the power play it’s ridiculous to think that they can succeed in this league with the amount of offensive dynamic talent there is. Change the damn system. You bring in PLD and put him on the 3rd line all year with a rookie who I don’t understand how made it through the entire year in the NHL the guy is a turnover machine, can’t ever get the puck in deep let alone produce, his other winger is another bottom 6 player in a ****ty system that hasn’t been able to produce offense for a decade now. What did we expect him to turn into mcdavid?! On top of that PLD looks like he just sucks at hockey tbh I really wonder if they watched any tape on him before signing him to the worst contract in the entire league, and trading away one of the only offensively talented guys we had in Vilardi. We finally got rid of browns terrible contract and instead of using it to get a proven scorer they get this turd stick. Insanity the way this team is ran. You have arguably our most dynamic offensive player fiala playing with Trevor lewis and Lizotte. The coach should be fired for that alone. Put these offensive guys who aren’t there just to dump and chase with each other and allow some damn creativity. The entire year they tried to score first and then hold the lead. Edmonton just showed them in this last game as long as you can consistently score you can always sit back and hold a lead just like they did in the 3rd. They had no answer for it because there is no offense. I hope they fire Blake because he thinks he can win a cup with Talbot and Rittch as his goalies. The boring ass system is the only reason why they looked good in net. Edmonton exposed them however with about 10 goals that should’ve been saves in this series. Absolutely ridiculous, hoping for big changes next year otherwise expect another year either missing the playoffs or another 1st round exit. Half our goals were lucky ass bounces and trash goals that just so happened to go in.
