I don't think you'll have to do much to tank.

You won't get that much for kap, maybe vrana if by some miracle he actually plays this season and produces. I'll do that for buchy if he seems open to a contract extension but not as a rental.

All teams except STL pass on those trades. Very lopsided. Don't get me wrong, Buch is a good player...just can't see Yzerman trading away that much for him...or even close to that. It's not like they even made the playoffs last year let alone contenders.

Also, if you're tanking...you keep Krug and play him. That's how you ensure a tank.

Detroit will not be buyers at the deadline, we're not a contender and Yzerman is building for the long haul and isn't giving up first round picks or top prospects.

That was for you. You're very predictable and let's be honest, I'm not wrong.

The Blues have been grossly mishandled and barring a big fast retool, the trajectory is the bottom.

A first for Vrana? That's optimistic. And it won't be from Edmonton - they've never traded a first for a rental.

I mean we did just trade a 1st rounder for a winger so it's not crazy to think it could happen.

I’m not sure that’s a bragging point considering the last time Edmonton won a Cup.

Actually there’s only a few teams with more success over the last decade plus than the Blues organization. They aren’t looking at a complete tear down and rebuild like Pittsburgh faces for example

They've won 5 Cups in that time. More than any other team.

Ken Holland has won a few too. He's never traded a 1st for a rental either. It's just smart business.

The past success is not the subject of discussion, so your reply is completely irrelevant. Congratulations.

You said “The Blues have been grossly mishandled”.

The past decade + proves you are wrong. That’s how the past is relative. If you only want to look at last year then you can’t make a general statement as you did.

Thank you for being wrong. Everyone appreciates it 😊🤣

Again, what you're saying is completely irrelevant. They've been completely mishandled by getting themselves into too many bad contracts and bad decisions. This isn't rocket science.
