I would rather the Sharks just buyout MEV than spend any pick at all to have an additional year spending $5.5m in cap for a player they don't want. And I doubt Habs FO likes the exchange either.

Flyers aren't trading Farabee for lesser assets. If he gets traded it will be in package for a more valuable player or in hockey trade for a position of need.

NO ONE WANTS ANDERSON!!!

Anderson has an extra year which is literally the only thing the Sharks care about right now. Sharks have like 40 mil in space, they don't need to shave off 1.5 mil.
They have all the bottom 6 forwards they need already. They don't want another. They could get a player twice as good in FA

Sharks not paying a pick premium for the ghost of Anderson. Vlasic was passable last year and at this point a buyout is fine but I bet he plays out the deal
