I disagree, a mid 1st and ok prospect like Kapanen is about what I figure he is worth. Basically similar to what Dach got

not sure, Necas has so many holes in his game that I would not give up much more if that

Not bad, not great...depends on the contract. anything over 5.5 gets shady and how much is a a 5.5/6 million dollar player worth. Of course something but not exactly the farm

It's a tough call. He can't really get a bridge either.

I say the best solution is let CAR keep him, and they can manage their own issues. We already have so much current and future top 6 pieces, he isn't a big upgrade at all.

Yeah, that is obvious now. Some people really thought that guy would get a lot more but I think Carolina will just deal with an OK player and look elsewhere to upgrade

Or, they add on top of Necas straight up, and get the upgrade him in the same trade. (Maybe a little Marner idea here lol)

Mid to late 20s pick in a bad draft for Necas.

Yeah, gonna doubt that does it.

Then we would keep him. Not going to get a player of his skill with that pick

good at turn overs too, holding the puck too long. That is hard to overcome at his age. Montreal should buyer beware

Except that Debrincat was only willing to sign with one team, which tanked his value...
