Description
Would this sort of trade be worth it for the Bruins if Frederic doesn't pan out before the deadline? Giving up Krug in a trade that brought a RHD who can slot in on the powerplay, and a 3rd line center?

With Muzzin bringing in a 1st, I'm not too sure what the price on Faulk would be, but it's probably higher than what I have here. Martinook is struggling right now for the Canes, but perhaps a change of scenery would bring some life back into his game.

He's listed on the depth chart as a center, but he has recently been playing winger, so I'm not 100% sure what his natural position is, but I made this trade going off his depth chart listing from CBS.

He played 1 year as C and wasn’t very good there. Bad trade too. No thanks.

Anisimov from Chicago would be a fit.

This is so bad. Krug>Faulk. You're giving away the others for free

Don't really see why Boston does it.

Martinook's offensive production is no better than Kuraly's and he's currently on our 4th line. Boston also doesn't have a huge need for a RHD PP QB. If Krug was traded, McAvoy would be that guy or Grz or Moore.

The way I breakdown this trade...

Krug for Faulk - Neither guy is great defensively, but Krug offensively is superior from a production standpoint

Heinen + Zboril + 2nd for Martinook - Seems like a lot consider Heinen had nearly 50pts his rookie year and even while he struggles this year, he's still as productive as Martinook. Adding in Zboril and a 2nd just seems crazy.

All in all, I would say that Carolina would be bending Boston over in this deal.
