Just disagree with 2 things. 1. Girard bottom pairing. Avs like him too much and will give him numerous chances to thrive with EJ. 2. Makar on the outside looking in is not realistic. That kid is legit and will be ahead of Timmins at the very least on the depth chart.

You're both missing the larger picture, which is the overall roster. Line combinations/scratches/injuries happen all the time. And Cole has been the worst player on the roster since December.
