Yeah only way this makes any sense to EDM is to minus alzner and the lucic retained salary and then mtl even with all that extra cap room would be stuck with that pure poison of a lucic contract for 4 more seasons after this one, at which point it gets declined.

Doesn't matter how legit the bom is, Lucic is so the opposite of legit Edmonton would have to add a pick of some sort and retain salary to make this happen!
