A lot of these trades are way off base, the logic isn't there.

MTL isn't going for rentals, and if they were Zucarello wouldn't be the one.

I really like Edler, but he currently has a concussion and he is almost 33, so he is not worth giving up all of those assets, even if it means getting rid of Alzner.

Hudon, maybe you get that, but I think hes a guy they should be trying to trade for a rental.

Kuemper.. no. He is the starter in ARZ not hill, and they are still pushing for the playoffs so this doesn't make any sense for them. Nor does it make sense for MTL to pay more money for a backup goalie when they have Niemi and Lindgren and are already paying Price $10.5M.
