Let me know which of the trades are too one sided. And before you say that I didn't get enough back for Draisaitl, watch some video of Aleksi Heponiemi

I know there's a lot of debate on if Toronto is going to be able to sign all their RFAs, (Marner, Kapanen, Johnsson). I personally think they'll have some trouble because of how well all 3 of those guys are playing. Kapanen could be offer sheeted at 4 million, and if toronto can't match, they'd only receive a 2nd round pick. This is a better option for them, Caleb Jones is a tough young 2-way man with top 4 potential. He looked great in his NHL games this season.

I still expect to be ripped to shreds by leaf fans though

Panthers don’t want Draisaitl for that price. Would rather keep them and have more cap flexibility

Fair I suppose. But he could definitely be the difference maker for you guys. Your forward core would be the best in the League with him. And most of your core players are already signed for many years to come. What if I replaced Tippet with a lower level prospect?

Nope. Tippett has 30 plus goal scorer written all over him and as for Heponiemi as you said in your description just watch his videos.....going to be special.

          Let me get this straight.

You trade for Ryan Callahan and a 2nd for futures, with no money retained, but then you flip Calahan to the Rangers for futures but retain 50%?

          Yup that makes sense.

You're right that didn't really make sense, I deleted it. The idea was that Callahan's entire contract would need to be dumped, and the bolts will have to pay a 2nd to get rid of him (which will probably happen). The bolts need the cap space next season, and they can't even afford to retain salary or buy him out. Then Callahan could maybe be traded if a team wanted him at 2.9 million instead of 5.8 (which was probably unrealistic), because teams won't even want him at that price. I deleted it
