I’d have to seriously consider that, maybe slap a condition on the 3rd. the big problem is Cap space next year. That would tie up 71m leaving 12m to sign CMac, Carlo, Heinen, JFK, Cehlarik, replacement for Chara and Acciari. Meaning they have to find a way out from Backes with no retention, penalty, or take on salary just to have a shot at signing them all. May have to trade Krug too in the offseason. I dunno.
