Yeah, um, i would do all of these, and the salaries seem right too. Nice job. Trades are fair for the most part. You move johan larsson out and its even better. Its just time to move replacement level guys that have never won a thing out of here. I mean if you can find a landing spot for okposo that wont involve us taking a different steaming pile of garbage back- and id say you should punch up your resume and get it to pegula.

I do not think Gretzky would make the trade. We need an offensive RHD but IMO the offensive skills of Ristolainen do not exceed the shut down skills of Larsson. Then Thompson, Nylander and the 2nd are no where near the quality of RNH. Maybe Sheary, SJS first and Nylander would move the needle but not that offer. Sorry about that.

Thanks - I think there's a good chance that anyone Botterill tries to add in a 'hockey trade' would not only need to be in that age group of 23-27 and be a good skater but also someone from a winning culture to help. The Hawks won't trade their two icons (Kane/Toews) or upcoming star (DeBrincat) and can't unload aging players (Keith/Seabrook). Saad is one of their only marketable players left to use to start retooling the roster around Kane and Toews IMO and his Cup wins will be the kind of influence Botterill wants to add. I also see RNH as a strong-2 way center that can handle 2C offensive duties til Mittelstadt is ready and also then slip into a 3C role thereafter as a more two-way player. Larsson would be a great partner for Dahlin.
