You guys must be kidding, Johnsson and Kapanen is 87 points combined... 40 goals. In their rookie/sophomore seasons. Together their cap hit won't be over 6 million, try to find me a 80+ point player that makes less than 6 million

Go look at all the players that scored more than 80 points this season, and then tell me you wouldn't trade Pesce for them. Or better yet, all the players that scored 40 goals

Also, SDA is playing on the growlers right now ...

I know the Leafs are going to lose at least one good player to cap compliant, but this post has them losing a net three. And having those left-wingers, DAR and Holl taking regular minutes....it's a lottery team.
There are way to reduce cap without decimating the team.
