The biggest advantage Columbus has for re-signing those guys is the ability to offer 8 year deals. If you're not using that, then you're not using your advantage as the team that has their rights until July 1st.

Panarin and Bob have already said they are testing the market so getting them to sign pre July 1st is going to be near impossible. If they only get offers slightly higher than these and they can stay with the current group they have, then these seem like decent contracts.

You also forgot to resign or trade Murray, Merzlikins, Robinson and a few others. Also Werenski at 7.25 isn’t that great unless he steps up his game. My guess is he will be about 5.5-6.5 for 3 years on a bridge if this is the rout we choose to go. Also our 2020 1st goes to Ottawa for resigning Duchene.

Oops, I had Murray traded, and backed it out. Forgot to trade him again. As for Werenski, if you can get him at that price for 8 I think you will be happy. As for the other RFAs, all you are going to get is picks so not worth my time to trade them.

Merzlikins would be the AHL starter and Robinson would be a healthy scratch along with one of the others.
