I predict that they're both available at their respective slots. Let's see if you guys do that. (I'm thinking that you'll take a center at #4 and we take Byram at #5.)

I’ve been hoping for Cozens/ Turcotte and Lavoie.

Avs already have a young good D core: Makar 20, Girard 20, Zadorov 24 and Barrie 27 (plus Timmins 20 on the way) they are young enough.

Drafting high end F prospects needs to be the next priority, not another D man. Avs promising F prospects after Bowers and Kaut isn’t that exciting.

I just couldn't pass on Bowen Byram. I think he's got 1D written all over him, and regardless of whether you think they're stacked on D, I'm taking the best player on the board.

If I'm being honest, I think Chicago takes Byram anyway, so this won't be a talking point.
