Maybe David Poile goes for a huge risk and offers a 2nd or 3rd for Gustafsson, but a first is just not right.

Hmmm maybe I am biased but I think around 20ish would be fair value for a 60 point D man making a little over a million bucks (obviously it could just be a one time season for him).

Hawks could send back some more juice, I guess but if Gus at the draft isn't worth 20th overall, I think it would be better to wait until the Trade Deadline to move him.

Columbus would rather have the draft pick then Anisimov back. We don’t have much in terms of picks and Anisimov would be our 3rd maybe 4th center on the depth chart depending on how you rank them. Not a very likely trade after Jarmo said he was going to try and get more draft picks and not spend them for a bit.

What about a swap with Wennberg straight up? I know he had two pretty underwhelming seasons. Maybe a change in scenery?

Personally I’d rather not bring Anisimov back. Maybe a 3 way trade is a possibility where Wennberg goes to Chicago (probably with a little retention in salary), Anisimov goes to Philly or New York(either team tbh) and Columbus gets a 3rd and a conditional pick from Chicago for Wennberg points like. 5th that becomes a 3rd if he has 40 points next year or something.
