And Drouin and Shaw are good players but they are not cheaper. Winnipeg might part with assets to have the Habs take Perreault but no more than that i think.

Habs could eat some of Drouin's contract to make this more appealing, but I agree that it's not nearly enough to get WPG excited.
I like Anders Lee, but that's a lot of cash to throw his way. That said, given the comfy cap situation you've got here, I'd try to go $9M but for 3-4 years.
That is so bad for the Jets. They give up the best player in Morrissey and Niku is looking like a gem. Perrault while overpaid is still a good mid 6 player who is a possession monster and can drive the play. Depending on what happens with Trouba I would keep Frenchie if we could.

Nice team, but your RFA signings are wishful thinking (Kulak and Lehkonen will get way more than that, Armia as well).

At this point Morrissey is close to untouchable and he would certainly slot on the first Pair.
