    Bad contracts just don't disappea, often need retention on any trades.. Johnson has a NTC. First offer sheet probably we have seen on Carlo. Like Carlo but to be paid top 5 Dmen in the league?

    I think Carlo is super underrated on a team's defensive dynamic. He's a huge reason Boston is where they are, his presence in front of Rask is huge

    If you really want Boston to let him go, I guess you'd have to go that high. But I'd want more offensive upside for that much money. Bold play.
    Maybe Tampa does that to shed but Thompson alone wouldn't be enough for me. Maybe add 2nd. However, may I suggest Ristolainen for Johnsson? Tampa needs D and you want Johnsson. I'd much rather have Johnsson than zucker because he can play C anyway. Plus he's a good 2 way player.
