Description

Plan is to shed whatever money we can this year and burn off the remaining years on a number of contracts. Team would compete this year and have enough money next year to resign nurse if they so choose, and chase a free agent. Goalie remains the issue but that again can be addressed next year.

Lucic deal piggybacks one that johnathan willis had in his athletic article. I'd be willing to add bear to the lucic deal as well.

in case it wasn't clear. the point is to be more competitive in 2019 and burn off a bunch of dead weight contracts. As constructed there is also much more flexibility to make changes and/or sign free agents in 2020.
