Description

Krug trade creds to hockeyislife, saw the trade and made a lot of sense, especially if detroit has an extension in place.

With these trades bruins are cap flexible and can easily re-sign mojo as well as sign the rfa’s at fair contracts.

With the 5 mil in cap space, several players leaving, and hopefully a rise in cap for the 20-21 season, bruins should have enough money to lockup jd and mantha without any problems.

I would imagine most teams want Krug, however Detroit won’t trade for him with him being a UFA. They have the advantage of being his hometown

Wings have stated Larkin, Mantha, Bertuzzi, Anthanisou, Hronek and Cholowski are not being traded. Way overpayment by Wings. Krug is good but he is 1 year away from FA and he could walk and Wings have nothing then.

I think you’d have to eat a fair amount of the Backes contract to get OTT to do that

They could easily do the same thing VGK did with Stone and have an extension ready to go
